(Granite Gray : Buick : 1952 - 1953)
1952 paint by GM/256699 with a promotional name of Granite Gray. This gray automotive paint color is most commonly known as Granite Gray. The color formulation has been used between 1952 and 1953, primarily by Buick; but also by Cadillac. See the full detailed list below. The primary use of this paint is for interior color. Many interior paints where semi-gloss or flat versions of exterior colors. Lower gloss finishes could be created by adding a half ounce of Flattening Compound to a pint of the unreduced color. An unpolished version of the paint generally produced a semi-gloss finish for repair.
